Hallow's End

HER: The beginning of Hallow's End signals the beginning of the PvP battle in front of SM, if you're on a PvP server. We visited the Headless Horseman the day Hallow's End started (a few hours before the dailies were about to reset) and since he was resetting soon, there were many hordes just waiting around. In walks our group and 25 horde kills and a few deaths later, we gave up fighting our way through and tried out best to run into SM Graveyard instead. On a brighter note, we both won the broom mount, Magic Broom.

Altaera's tip: Loot everything as it all adds up. Today the Lux pair reached the 1000G looted achievement. And if you can, try to have as free an inventory as possible and keep the junk until you can vendor or AH it.

HIM: When doing the Headless Horsemen (aka HH) event remember to eat your G.N.E.R.D candy for the achievement [G.N.E.R.D Rage]. Expect to be ganked a lot by hordes as SM is the perfect place to farm HK to complete this achievement. It's best to bring your PvP trinket to trinket out of stuns, fears, etc. Sadly I learned this the hard way. On a better note, by the time we managed to get past the huge horde blockade we had 25 HK out of the required 50 for the achievement. =3

Luxuren's tip: Any PvP battle is about CC and damage reduction so as a discipline priest be ready to dispel and dispel and dispel while keeping everyone's HP up and bubbled. Make sure to have your mass dispel ready for the occasional paladin bubble and mage iceblocks which was mentioned in Paladin's Bane. Most importantly, go in as a group: Solo players are easy pickings for the horde. Above all, have fun while you gank and kite the bastards to hell. =]

Paladin's Bane

HER: Today, Luxuren discovered that his Priest's Mass Dispel can take away a Paladin's bubble. My responses was hehe, because that is something a lot of jerk Paladins do. Luckier still, or unlucky for the Paladin, he was able to apply it to a Horde Paladin. I wasn't there to watch it but I could just envision the "Oh, shit" look on the Paladin after he realized his go-to move just wasn't going to work today... And more or less, that's exactly how Luxuren described it.

On a different note, now that I'm 80, the Hordes don't dare attack when I'm herbing. Jerks. Or maybe because it's Luxuren's there and they won't want to take on the Lux pair... :D. And I love getting a Frost Lotus! We finally have more than one stack... And Crystallized Life just isn't that hard to find anymore...

Update (11:48): And I found King Krush! But he bit me! :(. I'll definitely have to teach him to be a good pet. And stupid Luxuren took forever to come back and help me. D:. And even had the balls to ask, "Why do you need my help?" Because a hunter can only tame a pet when she doesn't have one so I need someone to watch Rexie while I go back to Dalaran to put up Spikie! (Though I quickly forgave him since he did kill a Warrior who started attacking King Krush.) Five tries later, I still wasn't able to get him and he got attacked by the Nesingwary Game Wardens! DX. Consolation Prize, a King's Eyesocket of the Marksman and an Abandoned Adventurer's Satchel with 22G 84S 72C, a stack of Frostweave Cloth, and 5 Crystallized Earth (which I gave to Luxuren :3).

HIM: FYI, most Hunters use a combination of Frost and Freeze Traps to buy themselves as much time as possible to tame the said beast. However some can be immune to those CC effects. Though a Freeze Trap can never be resisted unless said beast has frost resistance. =/
